The Chinese doesn’t know and care what they did to the world. A brief reposition of how we got here.

When the COVID-19 story started back in December 2019, I began to analyze the way the Chinese government was handling the information; first, they started blocking as usual that all intel from this new virus came out to other countries.

They began to say lies were indicating that they had it “under control”, “it’s just another virus which is under control, nothing to fear” but the fact is that they didn’t because the Chinese didn’t share crucial information about the virus when the world most need it.

How possible is that the entire planet got affected by this? Easy, politics.

When the WHO started to say that the world should prepare and begin taking action against the spread of this virus things started with the statement, they published to the WHO indicating that the illness was “preventable and controllable” a day later the Huanan Seafood Market was closed.

Early January the official investigation started because the fear began spreading based on that this could be like SARS, another coronavirus originated in China that killed more than 700 people in early 2000s,

By January 7 The Chinese Authorities Identified the virus as a new type of coronavirus.

Days later first COVID-19 deaths started to appear in China, based on the considerable pressure on January 22 held a press conference to discuss what they knew about the outbreak. Since people were demanding answers they didn’t have a choice to go public with this, checks for temperature started in Wuhan and passengers travelling from Wuhan to other cities were targeted for screening at airports.

Here is where authorities must start to block, and the WHO in alignment with the scientific communities should request and demand to the Chinese government to close down the entire city.

Is not a matter of national security or concern of invasion to autonomy that a country has on their affairs, a Virus it’s an affair of the entire world and here is how we have failed.

January 30, WHO declared the outbreak as a Global Emergency, China announced already some thousands of people infected (which we know that they were more) and multiple countries reporting new infections every day. Hospitals in Wuhan struggled, and China decided to build two large hospitals within days, 270,000 square feet is the area of one of these hospitals and equipped it with “1,000 beds” my question here is, ¿has somebody checked the facts, were 1,000 beds in that hospital?

The Doctor who was silenced by authorities on January because he was alarming about the Coronavirus outbreak, died from it and later was honoured as a martyr.

On Mid March, WHO declared the outbreak a pandemic and at the same time, China’s cases appeared to be dropping… more than 80,000 reported by the official authorities (lots of scientific I followed always said that should be much more)

Going back on the end of February, all EU started to report cases coming mostly from Italy since lots of travellers from China were received in Italy others coming from Iran and other countries that had high infection rates.

Beginning of March, global cases reached 100,000. Deaths worldwide more than 3,000 and 366 outside of China. From this point is where everything got worse.

Today we have daily infection rate over 250,000 with a daily rate of 6,000 average and the three most prominent countries in the world with an infection rate rising every day.

2 Vaccines on the way and perhaps a couple more, HUGE economic damages and a change in the entire society.

The objective of this article is not to forget how everything started, someone must be accountable for the damages like in a War, and I firmly believe that politicians and people should start thinking how China will be responsible.
